Anyone familiar with MythTv?

Hey everyone,
Was thinking of getting an apple tv, but then I saw MythTv. There was one question. What version of linux works best with MythTv?

Short answer: it depends.

Long answer: most of the devs seem to be running Debian, most of the users like Fedora (due to Jarod Wilson's excellent setup guide for Fedora). Personally, I'd say go for KnoppMyth, a distro especially for Myth. All dependencies included, on one 700MB bootable CD.

i use mythtv. it's pretty easy to install and setup using ubuntu.

I guess knoppmyth is even easier to setup, but I haven't used that in quite a while.
