Great color and detail there, Rooster. I didn't get any last night, since there wasn't anything (legal) going on in the area anyway. Here are a couple of my favorites from the last 4th of July:

Equipment: S2 Pro, Nikon 18-35mm, tripod, annoying pneumatic shutter release.

I did adjust the levels in Photoshop to hide the smoke, which is always an annoying presence in fireworks photos, in my experience. This probably saturated the colors a bit more than they were. Here's what it looked like straight from the camera, and here's what Rooster's photo looks like with roughly the same levels adjustment, for comparison.
