I was looking at a 17" model 12ms response time was wondering if you had any positive negative feedback if you have one post a pic.

I have the 23' model and love it,but i am really tempted by the new Dell 2405.

i have a fp737s-d and a fp531
minimal light leakage on both , no dead pixels ,

pro's ,

fp737s-d ---- good contrast and brightness , fast enough response for gaming ,
cheap price , sharp picture . built in PSU . dual DVI,d-sub .

fp531 --- excellent contrast , bright whites and black blacks, very sharp text ,
cheap price , built-in PSU , all black housing

cons ,

fp737s-d --- weak stand , could use more contrast , silver faceplate , , slight light
leakage around edges

fp 531 --- d-sub only , slow response time , slight light leakage -- hazy bar vertically
running down left side of screen , only noticeable looking from the left at
170 deg on black screen .

thats all i can think of right now , lcd's only cost me 500 canadian for both . new

Using a FP931 here, deep blacks, no leakage, no dead pixels, and great image quality. No, I don't miss my Trinitron CRT.

post your question in Dell 2405 thread, it's actually manufactured by BenQ :D

Used the 19" benq 937s for a month and it sucked ass. Poor color, contrast and uneven back light. Dithering was also very noticeable compared to other lcds i tested and viewing angles are lower than the specs indicate. Benqs monitors seem to be on the low end of the lcd market scale.
