Anything New On The Horizon From Logitech/Klipsch

I sold my Logitech Z680's a few months ago and I"m desperately in need of a new speaker system. I'm just wondering if there is any news on a possible replacement for the Z5500's or the Klipsch 5.1 Promedia speakers. Seems like these 2 systems are getting long in the tooth from a time standpoint (Almost 2 years)

Would it be wise to wait a month or two or just drop the money and grab say a set of Z5500's.
 
The file formats haven't advanced, so not unless they are coming out with a new "decoding box" would there be any difference.
 
The last update was about 3 years ago... and before that, I think the old Promedias were about 4/5 years in age. It probably wont happen anytime soon, but maybe in a year or 2.
 
If you really want a good sounding system, get bookshelf/tower speakers + subwoofer + reciever. Even a 2.1 setup would sound tons better than the Z5500s.
