A friend offered me his 21" Apple Studio Display as replacement for one of my CRTs which is having issue. The monitor being Apple of course lacks such niceties as a proper OSD, which makes me wonder whether it's any good to use it with a modern Windows OS?
It's important for me that I can use my i1 Display 2 colorimeter to calibrate the display as I'll be using it for graphics work, but it doesn't seem like this ASD has RGB controls available in any form except when using it with the system range it was designed for (OS 8/9) via a software utility.
Does anyone here have any experience with this type of Apple display in combination with Windows? Any comments would be more than welcome.
