I'm bored with my [email protected] so I'm trying to push it higher seems like getting a bit more extra takes a lot more effort lol

Anyway... my current setting

8x475 3.8

vCore 1.45v (1.42 read by OCCT)
cpu PLL 1.8v
VTT 1.3v
SB 1.2v
NB 1.7v

Taken from another forum,

Recommended maximum safe 24/7 voltages (as shown in Windows, not set in BIOS) for a Q9450 are -

Vcore - 1.4v
PLL - 1.6v
FSB Term/VTT - 1.4v

The latter two are the most dangerous for 45nm chips, especially in the non-friendly-to 45nm quad X38 boards. Tweak your GTL's first before thinking about exceeding those limits.

What board are you using? Your CPU PLL and northbridge voltages seem excessively high, and could be harmful. Your Vcore is also a bit high; like setter said, it should be kept at or below 1.4V.

I'm using asus p5k deluxe black pearl edition

Everything with watercooled included NB and SB

thanks for the PLL advise. I lowered it to 1.6v with same stability.

I wouldn't be comfortable with running the NB voltage at more than 1.5-1.6V then. 1.7V is still rather high for the P35 chipset.

it's not stable at 1.55v which is the option under 1.7. Anycase, my NB is wc'ed

You seriously don't have any options between 1.55V and 1.7V? That's really odd.
