Is the RAM still up for sale? I saw that someone had "dibbs" on it... but if that falls through, let me know.

Also, is the RAM you're selling the RAM that you had in when you took the screenshot with CPU-z?

it's still on dibbs until jeddaye let's me know what's what. Yes, this is the ram I ran in the rig from day one. All 4 items were used at once. I'll let you know if it becomes an open item.

Awesome. Now I have a question about the RAM, because I have been looking for this exact model for awhile now...

How does it overclock in the board? I'm currently running a 2 GB kit of Corsair TwinX in this exact same mobo but I can't get it to overclock to more than 215 mhz stable. Previously, I had a 1 GB kit of Corsair TwinX and it overclocked to 245 mhz stable, which was great for my Opty 165 as it can get close to 3 Ghz. Now I'm being held back on my OC by my RAM so I want to try this OCZ out and see if I could get closer to 250 mhz, but wanted to hear your experiences with it...

Thanks - and let me know if it opens up!

I'm interested in the motherboard and proc, and the ram if it ends up available.

Honestly, To get over the stock DDR400 speeds, I would have needed more volts. I never even tried to go beyond stock DDR voltage. Though, I also did not ever try running lower than CAS2....so that could been holding back as well. I ran the ram in my system with a 5:4 divider so that the ram was always at DDR400...stock voltage...stock timings.

So...oc'ablity is as questionable as any ram you would buy. Here's a closeup shot of the chips. My camera doesn't rock so much from closeups. Hopefully this helps.

Edit:
Did a search for more info on the IC's for this ram. Came up with this URL http://www.sis.com/support/support_memory_4.htm

Says it's really spec'd to be CAS3 modules. But, I never had one problem going with the OCZ spec of CAS 2 with it. So maybe cas 3 or cas 4 would have netted more clocks.

Edit again for some more confusion:
According to this link, Aeneon wasn't a known brand of IC's to be put on this OCZ ram, yet it carries the correct 2-3-2-5 specs. A real mystery here.....

Edit 3: Mystery solved. Aeneon = Infenon according to this thread. That makes this ram the same as Muskin Redline stuffs.....

oF course the 1gb set is going to overclock better.. not alot of 2gb kits will overclock to what you want.. no idea with this set but im sure you can read some newegg reviews or a www review to see similar overclocks
