Beta bios 1010.001 is now available from the Asus FTP site: ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/socket939/A8N-SLI Deluxe/
No ideas as to what's changed since as I write this it's not up on the Asus webbie yet. Hopefully they've fixed the Asus Probe problems that 1008 and 1009.002 beta introduced.
