asus a8n32sli sound issues

I just installed two 8800gtx's and out of nowhere, my sound cut out with the onboard audio, I put in my soundcard and that works fine, but now I no longer have a needed pci slot. Anybody else run into issues on this, also, anybody have the 680i by evga? what do you think of it. Len
