Asus Customer Service Quality?

In short I am looking to smack down some cash on a G51VX laptop from Asus. This laptop meets/exceeds my needs but I was just wondering about their customer service. Have any of you had experience with Asus customer service. if so how is the quality and turnaround times? I feel sort of ripped with a 1yr warranty but I know that they are a solid company and honestly I am gentle enough that I do not need to worry about damaging the laptop. My current Dell has lasted me a solid 4 years with 0 problems.

I used to own a G1S-B1 from Asus.

I got more help from people at notebookreview than Asus. You will be in luck if you can just contact the reseller (like gentechpc, they were very helpful when my gpu failed).

Asus itself isnt exactly the best when it comes to customer service. This is my opinion from my own experience.
