Thats a little less what I paid for my HP Laptop. I'm almost tempted to buy this then sell my HP laptop for $500 on FS.

I wonder what the battery life is on this thing.

Not great, but better than most gaming notebooks. Somewhere between 1.5 - 2.5 hrs.

I am seriously tempted by this, I don't need it, my desktop is fine at home (though I am itching for an I7) and I always have a macbook pro (with xp on it) for very light gaming.

But I have money in the bank now that I have gotten my tax refund back...

Okay I need to keep on telling myself that my macbook pro has a better resolution, I need to keep on repeating that...

Sweet Deal.

If they have any left tomorrow, I may get one.

The resolution may be low, but that means this laptop will be game-worthy for a longer period of time.

That's a great deal. Anyone know if it does RAID? I'm thinking I'm going to stick with my P-6831FX for that reason, but people should be all over this!

Nice price, but as stated in the slickdeals thread this model is probably refurbed in association w/ dealtree who seem to be a pretty sheisty operation...

Called Dealtree today to verbally confirm & check-up on my order. The CS lady was very nice and quick w/my questions, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed ... I know they generally have a much less than stellar rep (according to Resellerratings and other sites).

I have one of these and love it, but not for display fanatics as the res and viewing angles are poor. Performance is ridiculus though.
