I got this motherboard to replace a flakey gigabyte ga-z77m-ud3 everything went well, and the board seems a lot more solid to use. However the rear audio outputs do not seem to work.
I can plug headphones or speakers in the front, and it asks what I plugged in, then it works fine. (And it sounds really good compared to the gigabyte one)
If I plug something in the back, it also asks what I plugged in, but it won't play any sound.
I have installed the newest motherboard BIOS and Realtek audio drivers. I did not install any of the creative labs stuff.
If it s actually dead, I probably won't bother sending it back, it's just a hassle to plug the speakers in the front, and I can't use a subwoofer if I decide I want to do that.
If anyone has had a problem like this and found a solution, I would appreciate knowing what you did!
Thanks.
