Asus P5N-D 750i

looks like a nice layout, now i would have put the other pci express slot down one more, but overall it looks fine.

the 650 boards didn't seem to have the memory killing issue of the 680 boards, but i don't know about quad core overclocking. i'd wager the 750's to be at least as dependable as the 650's

4 SATA doesn't seem like too many.

however it states in my computer info its 650i. does anyone know whats going on? is it 650i or 750i? Asus and new egg state it to be 750i but my info is saying 650i

780i and 750i are 680i and 650i with some added circuitry for better 45nm/quad-core support, some other small new things like PCI-E 2.0 but that's not too important, anyway, your computer is about 95% right and I don't think you'll lose any performance over it.

My P5N32-E SLI Plus was a 650i with a 590i south bridge but used 680i drivers.

thats good to know. im very happy with my board as of so far its rock stable. only problems i have is i got a case with no fans and a stock q6600 hsf. i need to upgrade those fast lol but nvidia actually offers drivers for 750i and 780i but when i tried to install those, it automatically installed 650i for me. am i not accessing benefits because i dont have the corresponding drivers?
