Asus P5Q Deluxe and SATA setup

Currently I have set SATA (ports 1-6) in the BIOS to RAID and then have built RAID5 using Intel Matrix Storage Manager for disks plugged in to ports 1-3.

My questions are:
- can I use empty ports 4-6 for non-RAID devices like DVD or SSD?
- can I switch SATA from RAID to AHCI and still use RAID5 configuration from Intel Matrix Storage Manager?
