i heard that the p5wdh had some problem with FSB in the bios for overclocking. at what point does the bios crap out when you overclock? i heard you can't get to a certain fsb with the e6300 like it can't hit 3ghz. has that been fixed yet ?

is there any other problems that persist with this board for the e6300?

You can't go too much over 400mhz. Maybe 425-430 max depending on your MCH voltage. You should be able to get 3Ghz with the E6300. Not sure how much more than that though.

Stick with bios 1707 as the new one seems to cause some issues, there a is thread on here. Mine running at 400 x 7 @2.8 at the min, temps are good, so alls well. MCH at 1.65 options up tp 1.85, a bit scary for me.

I use the 1707 also. I thought about upgrading to the 1901 (I think that's the number) for 1333mhz support, but I'll wait until it gets ironed out a little more. I heard it was killing OC's and it wasn't easy to flash back.

thanks, i will watch out and keep on 1707 bios. the bios newer then this, what are the fixes?
