Asus P7P55D Deluxe

Nice review. That board looks good with the blue/black color scheme.

Cheers, yes it's a good looking board, got a bit more in it yet :) not had time to bench it yet.

Love the incredible attention to detail, & all the lovely high rez gorgeous photos!

Excellent stuff, thanx.

Can you list DDR-3 modules which 4 of will
likely fit using substantial air cooling, such
as the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 in push/pull?

I hate to buy a mobo and be limited to 2 DIMMs.

I had been considering Corsair Dominator GT:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145266

or other Dominator series if these are a waste of money, but
it doesn't look like 4 of these are going to clear?

There is no way a Noctua will clear over those DIMMs. I have a vanilla P7P55D and I can JUST fit some Corsair XMS3 (CMX4GX3M2A1600C8) with the Noctua. The first DIMM ends up underneath the "push" fan.

True and the ram cooler will be up against the nocyua fan as well.

G-skill Ripjaw or trident series are reasonably low profile and will be ok, their are probably many others, but i'm less certain of them.

Got round to doing some pics of the Noctua today. Shown below with 4x ripjaw.

All I have to say is holy shit to that Everest bench. Insane bandwith and latency. I want that setup.
