ASUS P8P67 PRO Bios issue

Tried to upgrade my bios to the 1053 using the tool in the bios and it says it's not a valid EFI file. Any idea how to get the dos version to work?
 
As an update, it's saying my bios is American Megatrends version 0402 from 10/27/10. It isn't even listed on the Asus page. So I'm confused here

I had the same BIOS in mine. I was able to DL the latest BIOS and update it from within the AI II Suite tool. Are you using that or the command line utility?

As an aside how do you change the turbo multiplier in the bios? I can only OC from the software in Windows.
 
I was using the bios and that's the problem. I'm updated now. I haven't started OCIng yet other than the first time (original bios) when it blue screened. :p
