I have a P8P67 Deluxe in Corsair 800D and the ASUS Q-Code's bright red is overpowering for my desired dark case interior.

What are my options, other than putting black electric tape over the Q-Code and completely blocking it off?

I read something in the manual about turning it off, like a small switch on the motherboard? Not 100% though.

How about a bit of dark tinted plastic, that ought to do the trick.

I read the manual multiple times and did not notice anything about a switch for the Q-Code

I think some dark tinted plastic may be my best option at this point.

There is no option to disable QLED as it is a diagnostic service for confirming on whether 1 of 4 components that are monitored are working correctly.

I will check with our RD team if there is a possibility about future UEFI builds having an option to disable it.

Hope this helps. Please enjoy the rest of your day.

Juan_Jose,

If possible, dimming or disabling Q-Code a few seconds after successful boot would be great. With that functionality Q-Code serves its purpose as a diagnostic device and it fits the request for dimming/disable of Q-Code.

Q-Led is fine as it only comes on for a few seconds during boot if there are no problems.
