ASUS VH242H Black 23.6" LCD $100+shipping (Open Box) Newegg

I have one of these as my main monitor, great value even at $180. This is an effing steal!
 
What is the warranty on open box items? Also, is there an increase chance for dead pixels since these are open box items?
 
Dammit I have one and have been waiting FOREVER for a decent deal on a pair :(

Regarding warranty the manuf. has no idea you bought it open box the warranty would still apply and newegg still gives you 30 days as well.

If you're in the market I'd keep an eye out on newegg - in three sections particularly - that I've been eye balling for a while now. Daily deals, open box, and re-certified sections...thats how I found these.
 
if you have a tax id number you can buy these refurbished from evertek.com i got 3 of them cost me 135 each
 
meh, tried to buy 2, only 1 in stock. don't need only one or I'd bite!
