Asus Videocard RMA?

Any of you have experience with Asus videocard RMA'ing?

After I installed the Accelero Xtreme 4870x2 cooler and started to fool around with clock speeds I got the dreaded Black screen of death. I called them up they told me I had a 3yr warranty on the card. Told me to ship it to them. I put the stock cooler back on and replaced everything just like it came from factory.

My question is, how is their service? Will they give me a new card? Or return the exact same one back? The cooler itself on the sticker it had 2 minor scratches that you couldn't really see but you could feel, are they uptight about that?

I'd appreciate anyone's input with their experience with Asus.

i rmad two motherboards to them and both times they were pretty baller. i had both back and running inside two weeks.

you shouldnt have any problems. they are so big that a 2 tiny scratches won't mean anything.

asus is great because they just go by the serial number and no registration or receipt bs. 3 years strait up with a serial number.

asus is rock solid and heart touching
