Asus XG (What ever happened to it?)

Like the title says, what ever happened to asus releasing the XG external gaming Video card module thing for express card enabled laptops?

I thought it was a great inventive move when they showed it in January, but nothing since. The product stated it had a Q2 release, well that has come and gone. Anyone have any ideas or knowledge about this product?
 
I remember seeing it too. I think it's still coming out, it's too great of an idea to hold off on, especially since it looks like they already have the XG working.
