Sounds like both boards have their issues - taking that into consideration, which is a better matchup for an i5-4670K build?

Bundle spread is $5USD in favor of Z87-A. Both boards support SLI - however, that is NOT a primary concern. (The winning mobo will be used with a single NVidia GPU.)

All HDDs are WD (existing Caviar - one Eco-Green and one older non-SE). SSD will be either Samsung or Plextor. Keyboard and mouse (existing) are USB. Optical drive (existing) is SAMSUNG SH-223B. All existing drives are SATA.

Both boards SEEM to be more than enough for Haswell OCing.

That said, the UD4H is higher up on the ladder in terms of features, power phases, etc.

There seems to be more stability issues with the Gigabyte boards this time around though.

this thread a few posts down.

I would think the UD4H would be more comparable to the Asus Z87-Plus or Z87-Pro boards. So if the price is just $5 more, I think the additional features would be worth it.

Do you want to spend an excessive amount of time searching for options in your BIOS? If you don't mind this then the UD4H.
