I'm frustrated that all the [H] regulars (and especially Kyle) seem to think I'm "[H] Bashing".
Re-read my initial post here http://www.hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1031985071&postcount=638 and please try to understand that I'm coming from the perspective that I DO agree with you guys and I WANT to see you convince the rest of the net of the serious problems at hand.
I'm not criticizing because I disagree.. I'm trying to offer constructive criticism from the perspective of a fellow concerned enthusiast who is seeing more and more communities across the net shoving [H]'s philosophies by the wayside because it's not doing a good enough job of explaining itself.
This has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with the results found here.. it just has everything to do with adopting an approach that doesn't scare people away but instead informs and educates.
Sticking your head in the sand, throwing up little disclaimers, and lumping everyone who's even remotely critical of this review into some 'hater bucket' is not enough to regain popularity.. in fact it's turning people away. You need to accept that if you're doing things differently, there's going to have to be a concerted effort to explain what's going on.. and I just don't see enough of that here. That's just my opinion and getting angry at me or calling me names isn't going to change it.. I guarantee you seeing some actual canned benchmark scores from your same setup for comparison will have a profound effect towards the rest of the review community.
Now if you choose to think about everything I'm trying to say here and then wish to formulate a rebuttal, please do read the entire thread. I did and I wouldn't have posted before doing such.. there are numerous examples of the people who "don't get it".. people who I'm trying to help with my ideas.. people who you shouldn't be swearing at or calling names.. and my viewpoints are in direct response to all of these kinds of opinions, so it's unfair to judge my views without first seeing everything it was based on.
I'm not asking to change much.. in all honesty the biggest change that needs to be made is the attitude.. nothing technical.
