Currently on my Win7 system, I have an Audigy 2 Value (w/Daniel_K's driver), Logitech Z2300 speakers, and Shure SRH440 headphones (w/SRH840 earpads). I'm just looking for some recommendations and have a couple questions. My main usage is music, some movies, no gaming.
1) Would I benefit much from an amp like the FiiO E5 even if I plug my headphones through my Z2300 headphone jack?
2) Would I be upgrading much if I got the Xonar DG sound card?
I know there are many threads about different hardware but every person's setup is a little different. I'm just wondering if these $20 "upgrades" would actually benefit me any. TIA
