So Corsair Link installed a 32-bit process named "Sierra2.GPU.exe" along with "SierraService.exe" up initial install. I look at my task manager, and Sierra2 is using 1-2% CPU on occasion, which I think is a bit strange. It's probably polling the GPU to check for temps and performance, but I honestly don't think a power supply app should be capable of using 2% of a 6-core 4.2GHz processor.

Corsair Link is listed as beta, just a heads up in case anyone is grabbing one.

I have an Corsair i80 CPU coooler and noticed that Sierra2.exe and SierraService.exe use WAY more CPU than they should for what they are doing.

They also use the localhost network to talk to each other with SierraService sending about 5900 B/sec to Sierra2.

I've seen the same questions on other forums. I just in installed all of that software. It did more weird stuff than it helped.
