Back to School Offer

Not that I am going back to school so I don't qualify, but Apple has just released their back to school offer.

I think it's pretty good. I don't need a iPod, so something other than a device is well worth it. Some people however are quite unhappy they aren't getting a free iPod. Funny, people complaining about a bonus offer. It's not like it's a standard feature or anything.

I liked the old deals better, with the free iPod Touch. Those were worth about 200$ or so, i think. You can just sell them for cash. You can't sell your App Store credit for cash. That was the whole point, at least for me

Apple may consider this as a good way to get people interested in the app store. may also think most people buying a mac computer probably already have an ipod/iphone.

This would be hot if it were a $200 gift card. Or if it were applicable to the Apple store.
