I'm looking for a 17" LCD for my dad. He's not going to use it for anything very taxing, just the usual work stuff - Word, email, web etc. so a fairly basic (and preferrably cheap) panel should be fine, but I'd like to make sure it's reasonably reliable too. It will run off an old GF3 Ti200, so it only has analog output, but if there's a panel with DVI as well for roughly the same price that would be nice for future compatibility.
So far these are the best I've found (all prices $CDN)

LG 1750S - 550:1, 250 cd/m2, 12ms, Analog, $200
BenQ FP71G+S - 500:1, 270 cd/m2, 8ms, Analog+DVI, $200
Samsung 740N - 600:1, 280 cd/m2, 8ms, Analog, $196
LG L1752TX - 1400:1, 300 cd/m2, 8ms, Analog + DVI, $202

As far as I can tell, the L1752TX looks like the clear winner, unless I'm missing something. Has anyone used any of these panels, or do you have any other suggestions?

Truth be told, for what he's going to use it for you could just go to walmart and pick one up. The HP LCD's they have there are good quality. That way if you get a dead pixel you can return it.

samsung 730b lcd... i picked one up at fry's for $300 with a $20 rebate. you can't beat that.
