Battlefield: Hardline Trailer Launches Rockets, Cars, Game

The guys over at Rock, Paper, Shotgun profess they are about sick and tired of trailers for video games that take themselves way too seriously. The new video game, Battlefield Hardline, due out the 20th of this month is a breath of fresh air actually utilizing a little humor in a trailer. What a novel idea.

One girl laughing, a couple of lame lines of dialogue, lots of people being shot with plenty of blood, and some explosions . So where was the little humour in this trailer?

What was the consensus from people that played the demo?

Felt like Battlefield 4 with a cops and robbers theme applied on top. The gameplay isn't much different and the graphics are if anything, are worse. It also still uses that stupid "Our interface is a buggy website" thing they call Battlelog that has given me nothing but grief and slow loads.

To sum it up, if you really like Battlefield 4 and want a cops and robbers-skinned version it's not terrible. If you didn't like Battlefield 4, don't buy it. I personally prefer Payday 2 for Cops and Robbers action (even though you can only ever play robbers).
