BB dmged my HD, will it work?

Those are the pics, aparently it got knocked around at BB, and one of the molex connectors broke off, bios seemed to recongize the drive, but IDK if i should load windows onto it and use, it, or if BB will take it back if I return it iv got the receipt.

Return it if opened like that. You, as a consumer, are entitled to an undamaged product.

Take it back. How did they screw it up? Were they attempting to install it?

If it is a brand new drive it is absolutely unacceptable for it to be in that condition. Take it back and make them give you a new one, and check it before you leave. If it was hit hard enough to break that plastic off like that, and take out one of the molex pins, I wouldn't trust my data to it.

That or the company got lazy and threw in a completely fudged up refurb...
Did you check the box for the missing pieces? If they're in there, it probably was shipping, if not, then it was the manufacturor.
