Benchmarking Plain Business Machines

I have alot of PC's at work I maintain and hear a few problems from people complaining that their system is slow etc.. This is mainly from the users with laptops who takem home and loadem up with their crap (limewire etc..)

I was wondering if there is a benchmarking program to test some plain business machines? This way I know if this Celeron or Dual core box is running at optimum performance and that its just not these users crying over nothing. I dont need to test any graphics applications just CPU, RAM etc..

Any info would be appreciated.
