best 17" crt?

what is the best 17 ince CRT monitor out now? a 19" would even be nice, if not too pricey and still had a nice image

price range 100-200, but I just want the best value.
 
If you can find one, i'd recommend the Hyundai ImageQuest Q910. 1600x1200 @ 85hz and it's shadow mask instead of arperture grille so theres no annoying lines across the screen.

There are millions of aperture grille CRT owners out there who are not bothered one bit by the thin wires visible across the screen, myself included. Anyone who flat out calls them "annoying" isn't offering an objective opinion.

Ok, well i find them annoying and i find the monitor i mentioned to be a great piece of hardware so unless you have something other than trashing my opinion to offer, stfu and mind your business.
 
Get a grip, pal. You told the OP that aperture grille lines are "annoying" and said it like it was common knowledge that everyone agrees with. If you had said "IMO" in the first place then I wouldn't have bitched at you.

Ok, well at no point did I portray my opinion to be an objective point of view, so maybe you should stop jumping to conclusions just to have an excuse to wave around your e-penis.
 
that samsung isnt in stock anymore, nor even listed?

any other options?
 
IMHO the best 17" crt is one that measures closer to 21" inches :D

If you don't mind grade "A" refurbished then hit up ebay for a dell p1130, HP 1130, sony cpd520 etc, they are all the same 21" monitor. Buy it from a good reseller on ebay or pricewatch for $150~$200 shipped "grade A" condition.

There are plenty of other fantastic 21" crt monitors to choose from, i just listed the more popular ones with loads of info to be found online.
