I'm sure one of your guys has them both :) . If so could you post some photos of them side by side or any 19 inch beside the 2005FPW.

Need your opinon Guys Im stuck on getting the 2005FPW with a Neo-Flex arm or The 1905FP and the LOGITECH Z-5500 Digital Speaker System. Both options will come to around $415 with my coupons.

If you're going to game, 2005FPW hands down. I had bought a 1905FP for when there was crazy deal ( around $210-230). I was totally disappointed in it. It ghosted MADLY. That was sometime ago though, so they might have swapped the panel. If you go for 2005FPW, you won't be disappointed. (I have one, and I'm in love with it). Absolutely no ghosting.

I have a 2001FP, 2005FPW, and use the 1905FP at work.

The new panels on the 1905FP do not ghost like the older models do. Actually I can see no ghosting on the new panel.

For most current games, or games that do not support hte 1680x1050 resolution, I don't think you will notice much difference as the 2005FPW will give you black bars on the sides and display a 1280x1024 image. Also the brightness of the newer 1905FP and the 2005FPW are about the same. The 1905 will fill the screen with its 4:3 design. When you are web browsing, doing real work, or playing a movie, that is where the extra space on the 2005FPW shines. For gaming, I personally prefer my 2001FP.

In most future games, this monitor will be very nice, giving the 16x9 games their "native resolution".

How can you tell if you will get 1905FP w/ the newer panel that does not ghost? Is it luck of the draw? Or has dell stoped producing 1905FP's w/ the older panel?
