Just wondering what everyone would recommend for my 2.4C, planning some overclocking, but not an insane oc.

Requirements:

1) Air
2) Won't drown out the noise of a lawnmower.

(2 isn't all that important)

Get a Vantec Aeroflow or a Zalman ZNPS7000CU.

Personally the Vantec is easy to install and works well.

I am using one right now on a 2.8C@3500.

Best cooling air ?

Thermalright SP94 or SLK-948 with a Panaflo 92 mm 69 cfm, the ULtra model.

im building a 2.4c system and im planning on buying a koolance exos, but in the meantime before i buy that im going to use the stock cooler or a thermaltake volcano 7+...but i dont think im going to be doing any overclocking at all till i get this thing on some water :D

The best air cooler without the noise and easy to install is the Zalman 7000.

Quiet cooling: Zalman CNPS-7000 AlCu (there's a pure copper version too, it's a behemoth and only cools very slightly better).

Probably the best heatsink is the Thermalright SP-94, but its cooling potential differs depending on the fan you use.

koolance exos is water
he wanted air
my vote is for the zalman7000cu, sweet heatsink
a snap to install, works like a charm

Another vote for Zalman 7000cu!!!!!!!!!!!!

And at full speed it is silent!
