Beyerdynamic cans - broken lead - advice needed

I have a broken cable with 990Pros. When I wiggle the cable left or right channel are missing, or both, so I guess it must be the cable.

Is there a way to repair this without cutting the cable and soldering? Cannot see any self-help resources on beyerdynamic website...

Any advice appreciated..

yes. I don't know how but ask at head-fi

you can just get it recabled too.
