Anybody have experience with this deal????

I decided to trade my 280s in for the 285 OC Plus cards.

I got an email to confirm my cost (or lack there-of) and that I wanted to procede.
That was Friday.

The on-line store has the cards in stock, but I have heard nothing else from BFG.

Roughly how long did you have to wait on BFG before sending your cards in for trade????

Another question.....since I SLi and am returning two cards for trade-up....can I send both of my cards in one shipping carton, providing they are packed also in the original etail boxes with accessories???

I'm currently in process of trading up my 260 for a 295. The process went like this:

1 - Initiate Trade up on BFG site from within the MyProfile tab
2 - Recieve email from BFG indicating they would be processing my Trade-Up request and email me frther instructions
3 - Recieve a second email from BFG with Instructions/address label etc
4 - Shipped my card to BFG for them to inspect
5 - Two days post delivery I got an email with the Trade-Up coupon and a link to the BFG store
6 - Logged into the BFG store and selected the 295 and applied my Trade-Up Coupon Code
*NOTE: BFG Store only takes CC - does not take paypal unless you use that single use CC Number thing through paypal
7 - One business day after my order was sent in I was informed it would be shipped out that day at the 2 day shipping level I paid for.

I was informed today it would be shipping out and I'm really excited to see it come in so I can give this card a good working over.

I'm guessing you didn't receive an email like this yet?

Correct, I have received the first email, the one where you confirm the intent of the trade-up, and BFG tells you the worth of your current card(s).
I have not received the second email as of yet.

Another question......can I send both of my cards back in the same shipping carton???

Jeff would be the one to ask that question too but I don't see why it would be a problem as long as you include all the paperwork for both trade ups.

im pretty sure you can get them on the phone if you are having trouble, they are pretty easy to deal with

just a question, when you do trade up, does they minus the actual price you paid for your card, or just the BFG store price for the current card you have?
