blue hue on side of screen... whats up?

My friend has a Sanyo Z3 projector. It has had lots of use but what I am wondering is if this means the bulb needs to be replaced or if the screen is crapping out. Notice the blue hue on the side of the screen where it shoudln't be? Whats up?

I just happen to come across your post and looked on google real quick.. there seems to be a problem with Z3's that do this (some report blue and some green on this forum)

Here's what one guy recommends

1. Re-seat the Zenith component cables (at the source and the PJ).
2. Try plugging the Zenith into the other component-in jack on the Z3. (Make sure that it's not a bad jack on the PJ)
3. Swap component cables with the DEVICE and/or move the Zenith closer to the PJ and try a shorter component cable.
