Could anyone give me some feedback on the brightest UV cold cathode available?

Thanks in advance.

I find that white cathodes are the brightest, depends from manufacturer to manufacturer though. I have one white one and it would easily light up a full tower case.

It has to do with the visable spectrum of light.

Most UV light isn't even visable to the human eye. The UV cathodes are actually near UV, which allows them to be seen. However, because they're barely visable, they won't be as bright as a white, yellow, or red light. It's not even close.

All of the UV CCFL's I've seen are all about the same brightness. Personally, I'd go with a Sunbeam for their quality, reliability, and low cost.

Antec makes a nice 6" LED light in both blue and UV. Newegg has them for like $12. Sorry, too lazy to provide linkage :p
