They don't make socket 771 mobo's that can overclock... You have to resort to pin modding, and then you can only get it to run at 2ghz

Got any article which talks about this pin mod more in depth?

These will probabley be good for video editing, right?

The cores are very, very nice to have, but the clock speed is still a bit low for my liking. Having more cores is useful up to a point, but clock speed still matters.

About the pin-modding, not many people have tried it I'd think. I like to keep $400, $500 motherboards in one piece, thank you very much.

Besides, I fail to see how pin modding would allow FSB changes and the such...I thought that was just done to increase voltage if necessary to the CPU. Haven't heard of any S771 Pinmods w/ the Intel 5000X/V/etc.

The real comparison is to a similarly priced AMD system...and I'm sad to say, intel wins.
