Hello, I have a GA-7NNXP Mobo and 3200 Barton

It seems everytime I try and install a new piece of hardware it wants me to reformat the system and re-install. This has happened on Memory / IDE additions over the months of having this board, any way to get around it? I had a 512mb stick of Corsair value, and upped it to a 2x512mb CL2 Mushkin memory. all help is thanked.

Are you saying that you're getting blue screens after installing the new memory? Make sure it's properly seated and clear your BIOS settings/CMOS.

I'm sure, and BIOS / CMOS is fine with the ram, picks it up and everything, it's Windows that has a problem with it.

It's more than likely your mainboard that is the culprit, especially since it happens with almost every piece of hardware you try to add. I haven't been a Gigabyte fan since their first Pentium boards. I think your next hardware addition should be a new board and I'm willing to bet that will cure that which ails you.
