Building a DAW for a friend, need parts critique

A musician friend of mine asked me to build him a digital audio workstation. Having never built a computer specifically for this purpose, this is what I've come up with so far.

Intel Core i7-6700K, EVGA GeForce GTX 950, Thermaltake Suppressor F31 - System Build - PCPartPicker

Anything I should change or add? All I know is he doesn't want to spend more than $1500, preferably less. The programs he uses are REAPER, Ezdrummer 2, and Melodyne. His current audio interface is a Line 6 POD Studio UX2.

1: you only need 1 HSF
2: get the normal version of that case, no window.
3: maybe a SSD scratch disk. I tried googling it and saw mixed but really out-dated opinions...

Honestly, as a personal preference I prefer less components, so for the ssd, I would go with a m.2 ssd, maybe a Samsung Evo 850, or a new Sandisk X400 SanDisk SD8SN8U-512G-1122 X400 M.2 2280 512GB Internal SSD - Newegg.com. Also on the mechanical disks, why the 2 2TB blacks and not a single 6tb blue?WD Blue 6TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD60EZRZ - Newegg.com

But just nit picking, otherwise a solid system

Yeah, I'd definitely avoid the BX200 SSD. The performance sucks compared to it's predecessor.

The 850 Evo or MX200 is a good alternative

Basically you can get a 32gb ddr4 kit for 90AR if you do a 4x8gb or $107 for a 2x16gb kit, which is probably way over kill but might be something to look at.
