building a gaming rig!

my friends brother want me to build him a gaming rig. ive only built my rig so im not that expierienced...his budget is 1000 dollars (include monitor). any ideas on what mobo, ram, vid card, sound card, and processor i should get?

The total comes at 810$, then you could eather go for a 17' crt monitor for about 100$ or a 19' crt for about 200$

Why would you need a sound card? The MSI K8N Neo4 has 7.1 audio!
