Calibrating with X-Rite Eye 1 Display 2

Hey guys, so I got the X-Rite Eye 1 Display 2 for my HP LP2475W monitor... I was just wondering how to calibrate it using the advanced mode from the software given. I am following this review: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/eye_one_display2.htm I was wondering how the guy got the Target Gamma, Kelvin, and cd/m2 before he used the X-Rite Eye 1 Display 2?

hit advanced, select the type of mointor you have,

Most people set to 6500K for color temp, some do 5000 for print work.

Gamma 2.2

Brightness, keep at recomended settings.

they're all standard values to shoot for except maybe the brightness which could depend on your room lighting.
