Update2: Actually I still need the VGA EDID from an LVM-37w3 or LVM-37w3se. Please follow the instructions below, but use a straight VGA to VGA cable to connect instead of DVI or HDMI.
If you have an LVM-37w3 or an LVM-37w3se (the SE version started being sold around June of this year) and do NOT have the notorious bugged EDID version (as evidenced by the symptoms below), I need your help, so that I can come up with a comprehensive fix to the faulty EDIDs sent out with a great number of SE versions of these sets.
If you DON'T have these problems:
Then please follow these instructions to extract your monitor's EDID which I can use to provide a fix for the bugged EDIDs on the affected SE models:

If you DON'T have these problems:
- When your machine first boots, the POST/BIOS screen is cut off on the sides by black bars
- Your monitor is identified by the NVIDIA drivers or PowerStrip as a WDE4207 or W4207
- When running at Windows 1920x1080 resolution, pushing the "info" button on the remote shows that it is running at 1920x1080i (interlaced)
- Some devices, such as the Xbox 360, are unable to select 1080p as an output format when connected via DVI or HDMI
Then please follow these instructions to extract your monitor's EDID which I can use to provide a fix for the bugged EDIDs on the affected SE models:
- Connect your monitor via DVI or HDMI if not already
- Download, install and run MonInfo
- Select the Westinghouse monitor from the dropdown box
- Right click in the text box and do Select All, then Right click again and do copy.
- PM me the text, wrapping it in CODE tags (select it and click the # sign at the top of the message editor).
Note that MonInfo is an older program and some newer video cards might not be able to utilize it to read the EDID correctly. If you have a card older than the ATI X1900 or NVIDIA 8x00 series you should be good to go.
