Linksys WGA11b is the wireless gaming adapter being used on the Xbox 360. The console is on the 2nd floor of a townhouse and the Netgear MR814 v2 wireless router is on the 1st floor. I keep getting dropped from PGR3 games on Xbox live. So, I am considering moving the router and modem upstairs to wire the Xbox 360 directly into the router. Can I switch the wireless gaming adapter to the PC to connect to the network and the internet? If so, will I need to reconfigure the network settings on the router or elsewhere?
