can someone help me with composite tv out(x1900xt)

i plug in the dongle to the video card. i plug in a male to male rca to the dongle, then I unplug my dvd player from the TV out of the yellow female rca connector. i plug in the one coming from the computer.

but then when i go to CCC and try and drag the disabled TV icon to main display, it goes black, and there is no response on the TV. any ideas on why its not working? im running out of ideas

It's probably the display resolution. Try 640x480 or whatever your TV will support.
