Cant play Neverwinter Nights

Got the platinum edition of Neverwinter Nights and it installs fine and loads up but after the intro movie and credits are over, i just get a blank screen and mouse cursor. I'm assuming this is the main menu and I just cant see it. I can still hear sound and everything. Tried messing with different resolutions and graphics settings in the nvidia control panel but nothing seems to fix the problem. My system is in my sig

I've run into this on Vista. I just Alt-F4 and restart the game and it's fine.

I'm running XP and yes I let the game patch itself... no luck.

Not the VERY latest no... but 2nd to newest...

Try setting it to run in a window?
