I'm thinking about embarking on a project to create a case for a computer to go into my entertainment center.

To blend in with the entertainment center, I was planning on having the front face of the case be wood that will be stained dark to match the furniture.

For the power and reset switches, I was thinking about having two pieces of metal wire set into the face of the case and using them as the sensors for capacitive switches for the power and reset buttons.

I think I have found an IC that will do most of the work for me, but I am an ME not an EE so figuring out how to implement an IC is like trying to play hide and go seek in the dark for me.

Can anyone help me out with what a circuit would look like with one of these IC's?

http://www.rohm.com/products/databook/sensor/pdf/bu21051fs-e.pdf

It is made to support 2 capacitive switches.

Thanks in advance!
