I just went back to Verizon and got 2 FREE Droid 2's and a 3rd for $39 thru this email link. Have to pay $30 activation fees.

don't you have to open up new data plans then too? so by getting the 3 droid 2's, now you have to carry 3 data plans for the next 2yrs???

It looks that way. If I didn't have a 20% discount on billing from work I may have not done the data on all three phones but I know I and my daughter will use it. The wife is where I maybe should have skipped the Data plan but if I did she would be mad....... JUST BECAUSE. .....WOMEN!!!!!

EDIT Follow-up: Looking back to when I was with Verizon and other carriers since ... they usually do not limit you from dropping a feature from your contract since features are not part of the main plan. They will not reduce my minutes plan from 700 to 450 but will allow increases from 700 to a larger plan.
If it turns out that I don't like the deal I don't have to activate the phones and can cancel and I believe I can cancel in the first 30 days anyway by federal law.
