Ok I need a cheap replacement mobo and chip. Im just going to be gaming and surfing, no encoding or other stuff. Im Trying to stay under $200.

What i got so far:
Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower
2 sets (4 4 gig dimms) of KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX kingston ddr3 1600mhz
gtx770
corsair cx750
ssd
kick ass heatsink meant for a lga 1155 ( i assume it will fit a lga 1550?)

Im not sure if i should do a 20th anniversary Pentium G3258 and a $50 mobo, or get cheap Devil's Canyon. It would be nice to have onboard optical out, but i do have a pos pci-e sound card i bought just for that option.

I'd just get a G3258, a cheap Z97 board and have fun with it. I don't think you'll hit your budget with an unlocked i5 unless you get good deals used (maybe a 4670k and a Z87 board).

If you look around, you can get a good deal on a G3258 combo. MC has combos for $99, but I just picked up an MSI Z97 board, 3 case fans, and a G3258 for $109AR from TD. So there are deals to be had if you shop around.
