I have a couple questions... (I am on 5.1 iirc only addin is upnp which doesnt work...)
Is there a add-in that I can get that will show me actual bandwidth usage, that I can compare to Comcasts site? I just want hard MB numbers, dont need any fancy graphs just usage over time.
I have been thinking about setting up a web proxy/cache since a lot of the same sites are hit from my house and I find myself re-downloading the same files enough for me to justify it (I think)
current box is a 478 socket P4 hyper threaded (3.2ghz I think) I am pretty sure I am limited to IDE drives. 3 GB of RAM. I have a PCI SATA controller that IIRC has linux drivers that I wouldnt mind using for a Raid 1 setup.
What should I look for with HDD setup? How hard is the proxy to setup? is it worth it for a home setup?
